Immigration Consultant - we want to apply for PR

Hi

Has anyone recently applied for PR, do you think we need an immigration consultant?

Anyone know of a good one in Perth?

Any idea of costs?

Hi Smika,

We want to become PR's too. Sick of being second class. The only way you can do it is either gain citizenship through descent or go through skilled migration like everyone else. If you go to the AU immigration site there is alot of information there or you could try ringing them.
To gain PR through skilled migration you or your partner must have a job in an area of a skills shortage. You then have to have a certain amount of points. I find it all very confusing, so will probably see a consultant. I have to retrain :(
