Wierd feeling - like baby moving

Hi everyone

DD is 15 weeks old and in the last few weeks I have noticed a sensation in my lower abdomen, almost exactly like when I was pregnant and she was moving. Its so "real" that for a moment earlier I forgot I had had Emily and thought I was still pregnant.

Has anyone else had this or has the sleep depravation, finally tipped me over the edge :confused:

My darling bub is 7 months old and i STILL get these phantom kicks. It has kept me awake at night sometimes.

I think its just the mind playing tricks on me. Its really not fair! Its cruel considering how much I want another baby!

It was much worse in the early days though. I think the sleep deprivation in the early months was a big factor, and all those hormones racing around.

I have heard of a lot of women feeling this sensation, and the conclusion that most of them - including myself - come to is that it is wind! :)
I think that after having gone through a pregnancy, your insides are kinda moved and squished around a bit, and i'm not sure if everything ever goes exactly back to normal, giving you unusual sensations sometimes.

It is quite eerie, isn't it?

i thought i was the only one so i hadn't mentioned it- my little one is11wks and i get the swirly movement thing on and off! i feel better now there are others with it too- was starting to think i was coocoo :D

I have this as well. My doctor said it is bowel spasims. (sounds great doesn't it)
He said it is normal and is just the bodies way of getting everything back in it's proper place. But just to look out for any acompaning pain wich could mean a twist in the bowel or such. Very rare though.

my doc said it is little twinges as your insides slowly 'unstretch' and fall back to where they were before pregnancy.

I just started getting them and my bub is 12 weeks old.

haha, i've been feeling like a got a baby kicking inside for the last few nights, when i lie down to go to sleep. weird feeling hey! I certainly hope its not a baby, Hannah is only 5 months! lol. I wondered what it was though. :rolleyes:
