Freedom NOT repression. Pro Christian thread

Hi All,

Just wanted to share something I was thining about... So many people think that by being a Christian I am repressed, I am denying myself something that other fun loving people are all getting, and I must be narrow minded.

I realised the other day, I am not repressed by christianity, it frees me.

Through Christ I have the freedom NOT to sin. I have the choice. Alot of people that dont know the Lord are repressed by society's norms that says certain things are 'normal' and that it is ok to do it, and hence they feel like they have to conform to these norms.

But I know that I am saved and I have the freedom through Christ not to sin.

Anyway, Hope this dosent offend anyone, its just my thoughts, and hence why I labelled the heading, pro-christian.

Aww chickie, try not to worry, everyone is different, and here at bubhub because one thing people from across the board have in common is parenting, you get to meet all sorts and are exposed to all sorts of differing opinions.
What seems like freedom to you IS repressive to others and vice versa, thats just the way it is, no point worrying about it :)
We have a great christian families thread that is a very supportive haven for christian parents, and there are many many other threads on all different topics on this great forum where religion is never even an issue!!

thanks Coops, I didnt actually post in relation to any bubhub people, I find everyone on here really tolerant most of the time as well, it was just something I had been thinking about a lot lately and wanted yto share!:)
