I am waiting for a Nic Naps and a Baby Soft Landings embroidered one (that cost $60!!! shhhhh).

I am also waiting for an order of PUL so I can make my own. I am quite nervous about this because if I stuff it up I have to order some more before I can start again. I have been sewing fleece ones to try and perfect it. Nearly there. Making another one today.

I am also waiting for the new Greens designs to come out. Greens are now my preference. It took a while and a lot of trial and error (with other nappies that I don't really use now), and it turns out that the easiest ones to get are my favourites. I wish I had known that in the first place!

Shed, I'm so envious that you can sew your own! I can sew buttons and teeny tiny holes, but that's the extent of my sewing prowess! I wish I'd done home ec at school.

gremlily, its more enthusiasm than skill let me promise you. I can't sew well but I am very determined. DP bought me a sewing machine and I just started sewing stuff. Most of it is in the rag bag now, but the nappies really are pretty easy, especially the pocket ones.

I unpick alot!! I seem to be constantly sitting there unpicking :laughing:

I want to do a dressmaking course at the community college.

I'm waiting on half of my nappy materials.

I should be able to make about 45 PUL/microfleece pocket napppies with bamboo prefolds and microfibre boosters for about $600.

Cant wait to get started.

Oh No!!!

I have a NEW addiction I think...

Now that I am so bloody clever as to make my own nappies, I went to nappyworks site and ordered some PUL and some suedecloth which arrived yesterday.

And today I got an email from them saying they have restocked and i went there and they have CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE flannel and CUUUUUUUUUUUUTE PUL and...oh no!!

I just made a huge order. It works out so cheap because you just order it by the nappy cut. It works out to be less than ten dollars for each nappy. Much less. And you buy the microfibre stuffers and the hemp and everything. So cheap compared to what I have been doing which is cutting down the hemparoos and Greens microfibres.
