Ferny hills? Good place to live & childcare

My husband and I are thinking about moving into Ferny Hills.

Does anyone live in the area?is it good for young families? How long does it take to drive to city in morning?

Do you recommend any childcares in the area? My DD will be in nursery.

Hi MrsMorriseyBrisbane. My parents live in Ferny Grove which is the next suburb over from Ferny Hills. It is a beautiful area to live as it is right on the edge of the Brisbane Ranges. I lived there myself for two years and taught in the local primary schools. There are some great schools in the area. Ferny Hills primary is a nice school. I don't know about the day care though I'm sorry. There are heaps of shopping centers within easy reach of Ferny Hills and it takes about 30 mins to get into the city. It is a really nice and well established area for families. Hope this helps. :)
