Well in just over a months time is DS and DD's birthday and i had planned for seperate birthdays as turning 5 is a big milestone and DD will be turning 1(but she wont remember it ;))

After discussing it with DS he is ADAMANT that he has a party with DD as he doesnt want his own party he wants to share one with DD (Even after explaining he can have his own party if he wants to)

So I do not want tod o a playcentre one as I dont like the idea of a time restriction, and living in werribee I had the idea of having it at Presidents Park (As they have bbq's there and an awesome park) but some lovely vandals burnt half of it down (from what i heard a few months back, havent checked it out recently)

I am thinking, does anyone know any good parks/beaches to have a big BBQ bash?? Any ideas welcome and soon and if you need to know budget for the party is 1k.

THanks :hugs:

After some researching i have discovered that Ringwood Lake Park seems a pretty ideal place with a huge park, bbq, and childrens playground, has anyone been there and is it any good?? Feedback would be appreciative :D

I havent been there, we've booked the boys party already so glad this dilemma is over for us lol

My only advice is make sure theres plenty of shaded area or make sure you take a tent thing with you for a big shaded area or weather will be a problem.. dont want kids sitting out in the open sun for hours on end and this is melbourne -who knows even in a month it could end up raining!

Keep in mind also that if you do it at a park you'll need to bring chairs for people or they'll need to bring there own.

goodluck and book as soon as u can cos popular parks can be booked out well in advance I found last year.
