Mmmmmm, bambooo prefolds

I've got two bamboo prefolds and they are unbelivably soft and fluffy.

Apparently they dont smell like hemp does either. Ive ordered lots of yards of bamboo to make my prefolds now.

Anyone else using bamboo?

Not the prefolds, but I've got BB bamboo fitted and some bamboo foldups. Ohhhhhhhhh, the softness is incredible. They feel so luxurious!!

Haven't any bamboo prefolds - where to get them?
Have various bamboo nappies and love em - want more.
So soft!!!! And absorbent and don't smell like hemp does. :smiledance:

size 1 35 X 35cm appox
size 2 48cm X 35cm approx

Also :

"There is a little shrinkage of the bamboo fabric, my much washed size 2 now measures 44cm X 33cm.
The bamboo is 90% bamboo and 10% polyester, but the polyester is only there to hold the terry loops in place, so it does not come in contact with the babies skin.
Watch out for bamboo though because some bamboo advertised as bamboo is 60% bamboo and 40% cotton, therefore it is less absorbent.
The bamboo is beautiful to feel it is very silky and soft."

I thought the eenies prefold were going to be too small for a normal pocket nappy.


I am also buying some Bammboo/tencel fabric whish is meant to be SUPER absorbant, (to make my own prefolds) Getting that from Yahoo usergroup Bamboofabs

Looking at them I'd say get the bigger size. The small size is quite small.

The bigger size is comparable to a medium hemparoo..
