Okay, I'm not ashamed to admit that I just love what Breastfeeding has done to the physical appearance of my breasts :D :D :D . I have always been quite small chested so its safe to say that both myself and my husband are really enjoying my boobs now. They're just the perfect size. But.....does this mean that when I stop breast feeding, they will return to normal, or is there a glimmer of hope for me they may stay the size they are now? Someone once told me that they could end up being smaller than they used to be! :(

Good question, Aprilsmum. I'm the same - I've gone from a B to a C and my chest looks curvy rather than concave (as my mum once described my chest). I'd love to keep the chest I have now.
Sorry, I haven't answered your question. But like you I'm interested in knowing what the answer is.
Unfortunately mine shrunk, back to fried eggs for me!
I am afraid I was in the same situation! I thought my breasts were perfect whilst feeding! I have had three children and with each one they deflated back to normal. Be prepared for complete deflation when weaning and after stopping completely. Mine were saggy and tiny things, even smaller than my orignal breast size. Fortunately they did regain their form and are now small again - but firm and high! I am happy enough to take back the small breasts, given that i didn't have to keep the deflated, minature ones!!
hmmm. I am afraid - that geberally the news is not good on the post breastfeeding boobies!! I too went down a cup size and whether it is age or bubba - they jusr aint what they used to be in terms of perkiness either............ :D

LOVE this Q. made me smile at your hopefulness (is that a word LOL who cares!)
Mine deflated within a week of my last BF and their back to normal albeit a bit more south than before LOL :D
Goodluck with yours ladies maybe you'll be the exception to the rule HEHEHE :p

oh ladies...how i wish i had your problem!!!
i have been a DD cup since 18 and went up to a size E/F while feeding. I am now back to a DD (which looks big on a size 12 frame!) after 2 months of no feeding. (i would love to go down to a C/D some time soon....ha!)
i have always wanted smaller boobies, as i think they would be so much more practical.
the grass is always greener......! ;)
I'm very sorry to say mine definately went south after breastfeeding! Very sad as I was always quite fond of them!!!!!!! I have found too that they seem very squishy, before pregnancy/breastfeeding they were always nice and firm! THe old bod doesn't look the same that's for sure but one look at my little man and it's all worth it! :)

Deflated is exactly the word I was thinking of. For awhile after weaning mine seemed ok, but as I finally dropped the last of the baby weight they've become sadder and sadder. At least with small breasts they can't sag too far
Well I've recently weaned and now it's back to the old push up bra I'm afraid. :(
Bye bye womanly curves.

Same here. I knew the truth would be out there.......good-bye lovely breasts......
I have to say I have had the opposite effect. I went from a c cup to a dd while breastfeeding. It has been 3 months since I last breasfed and they have stayed at a d cup. Admittedly I am also 9 weeks preg but they did not deflate much at all in the month and a half that I wasn't breastfeeding and wan't preg. I am a bit worried with this pregnancy as I already feel like the d's are getting a bit tight.
The one thing I have found though is even if they don't get smaller they will still have a bit of a deflated look.

I also had the opposite effect. Even though I didn't breastfeed for very long, I went from a C cup to an E cup. I absolutely hate it!

Well I went to an H cup (yes they do have bras that big .. albeit ugly!) while breastfeeding. Mammoth mammaries my husband used to call them.
I finished breastfeeding number 1 and they went back to DD retaining none of their previous elasticity.
After number 2 I now call them the pendulous puppies ... doesn't help that my 2½ DS pointed and laughed at them not that long ago.
I remember when you used to gauge pertness by whether or not you could hold a pencil under a breast ... what about the entire pencil case?

LMAO :D Deb!! I was a E/F before getting pregnant so you can just imagine. I am hoping and praying they deflate somewhat once I've finished breasfeeding - I'm so over having ridiculous boobs I don't care if they sag to my knees  I've heard that the longet you feed for the smaller they will be after - going by that theory I'm feeding DS till he's 5!!!!
