Well today was the day ..... I didn't give in my precious DD. She tapped on my boozies and I said "all gone"
After 14 months I am the proudest Mumma!! I can't beleive it, I never thought in a million years that I would of last this long.
In the beginning it felt like I had been to hell and back, days and days of crying saying I can't do this! Asking every person in sight for their guidence and opinion only to realise it doesn't matter what everyone else does and that you really do what suits you. All the days thinking and wondering how long I can last at this.
For once in my life I didn't give up, for once in my life I thought of someone else and I gave every bit of me to my daughter :)
For some reason I feel like super woman, for some reason I have proved to myself that no matter what you do - if you really want to do it just stick through the bad and it will all work out, I have never had any self confidence .... But that's changed now :) yaaaaaay!
So I think that I am going to have a well deserved glass of wine now and hopefully number two will come along ASAP!! :)

Yay for you!! I remember the feeling of wanting a gold star at the end of each week and the absolute sense of achievement I felt when I hit 15 months to the day and stopped. Even more so since I only lasted until 4 months the first time for fully bf, 7 months combination fed. It is a glorious feeling.

Enjoy your wine and good luck for number 2!
