ok, after some of the comments on how many nappies people have i am curious about what comprises everyones stash:detective:

how many nappies do you have and how many are you nappying?

i have 7 i have made myself which aren't perfect as i am still on my L plates on the sewing, but still proud of them:D i reach for them first.

6 zappy nappies that i am not all that happy with but i am perfecting the boosting of them somewhat.

2 fitted waterproof cloth that i found in an oppy.

5 peapods that i use when going out in the car/night coz the hemp is so absorbant.

i tot bots cover
1 zappy cover
1wool cover from the oppy
2furry pants (can't remeber whta they are called) oppy again:o
and assorted other covers from supamarket etc..

i also have some cloth wipes and homemade boosters of microfibre, terry nappies, and liners of fleece

and several flat terry nappies too.

but i'm sure that's nothin....:laughing:

1 Pico Pocket I hardly use - its crackly and a bit creepy, I feel like I am putting a vinyl tablecloth on him

1 Fruit Salad I don't use yet, I am waiting till he's a bit older, its too trim for him atm

1 light blue Swaddlebee that I only use as a cover atm

1 Pookey Pocket (first cloth I bought, it was my favourite but now its just in the pile)

2 Bits for Bots PUL pockets (one small and one medium - the small is a favourite)

1 Fruity kids (needs a cover. used once)

1 Rollicking Rascal

2 Cuddlebuns (one small and one large) - I am not a fan of these, the velcro is very scratchy and the other day the tab came undone under his clothes and bubby had very red scratched skin :mad:

2 Sandras Stuffables (one small and one medium)

3 homemade fleece pockets and growing, I am making one every couple of days now and am waiting on some PUL to enter into the sew off.

I might buy a couple more Greens when the new designs come out if they have nice 'boy' ones. But that's it now that I can sew my own.

I always thought I had a few days worth of nappies, but at the moment I'm living without a washing machine, and the first week, I didn't wash at all and only used half my stash :o But then I decided that I'd just use sposies until I got my washing machine.

Started of with terry flats but now they're just sitting there, doing nothing.........

I knew that the Swaddlbee's were a low rise nappy, but I have to admit I was still a little taken aback at how tiny they were. I'm sure that they'll work fine though once I get used to them though!

I tried it overnight once. I can't remember if I stuffed it with Hemp or Bamboo. But yeah, it didn't leak. It also has a really good snug fit (without being uncomfortable). DS has got it on now.
