Hi everyone,
i have used a few slings since bub was born, my main one being the Baba Sling but am now looking into buying a mesh one for summer. I breastfeed in my sling and also put bub to sleep in it if we are out so she is fairly well covered. It's getting to the point now that it's getting too hot to do this.

I am looking for some suggestions on some good mesh slings?? Can anybody help me out?:fingerscrossed: :D

Hi Rachael,

I haven't tried this one myself, but if we were ever to have a 2nd child, I'd certainly consider this product in this hot Qld weather. Here is the link - and I can recommend all the other baby beehinds products too!

thats a great site! they charge you $8 to change the colour of the mesh...hmmmm.
if you wanted to make your own sling, you could always use a muslin type cotton which is really breathable too.

there are heaps of free patterns for slings on the net too but the fabric they use, the solerveil mesh is a little tricky to find. you can also google search the slings too and that should come up with a heap of them.

Thanks for your help ladies:D I did google it which came up with quite a few but they were all ring slings with the excess fabric. I' prefer a clip on one like the Baba if i could help it.

I finally found one, though!! I ended up getting the Comfy Carry from Mothers Direct - i can't wait to recieve it now!:smiliedance:

Here's the link for those of you that would like a squiz. It's the very last one on that page:)
