Activities for 12 mths +

Hi
Just wondering how you play with your 12mth+ toddler?

DD is walking. I just feel like sometimes she gets bored and needs more. She isnt too interested in her toys. We do heaps of activities such as swimming, gymbaroo, toddler jam.

But how do you entertain, play and interract with them. Any play suggesstions for me??

DD loves her sandpit and puzzles that require thought rather then just fun toys like talking Elmo iykwm?

But she is 18 months now so it's getting easier to play with her and keep her entertained. Don't forget they learn so much by 'helping you' eg sorting Tupperware while you bake, passing you the pegs while you hang washing...my DD enjoys all of these things :)

My 14 month old loves to dance! Whenever he starts getting bored I put MTV on and we dance around the lounge room and I pull out some 80,s dance moves and he thinks it's hilarious ( god help me if anyone is watching!!!) plus as pp said he loves helping me put the washing out or he has his own draw in the kitchen full of Tupperware/plastic containers he plays with when I'm preparing dinner

My friend's baby is the same as poster above. Anytime some music comes in ear shot he won't stop dancing :smiliedance:
