Can anyone with any knitting paterns for longies or any wool covers pm me, I'm very keen on getting my ML to knitt some for me.
Thanks Donna
Oh and what type of wool do you have to use?

Ps has anyone used a disana knitted wool cover from Weewuns? I like the look of it when on the baby.

there are alot of patterns on http://www.thenappynetwork.org.nz if you go to the forum section and click on "knitting"

you just need to make sure the wool is 100% wool, not acrylic

Here is the pattern I used for a soaker (when you click on it, scroll down on the page to get to the free pattern).

I made it and adapted it to be smaller and it turned out perfectly (much to my dismay LOL!)

You need to use real wool, not acrylic. Cleckheaton wool is lovely and comes in lots of nice colours.

100% wool is best but at leat 75% is recommended and 8ply is fine though 10 ply is ok too.
There are many patterns - circular and straight. I have tried a few.!!!! (ok a lot)

Disanna is lovely.
