I was unable to cosleep directly with my son after my c/s and this was a fabulous solution that kept him near for easy nursing and changings at night. It made the first months so much easier on all of us, I wish he hadn't outgrown it! If you are unable to cosleep or are uneasy about it, this is the next best thing. One great thing about having your baby so near is that your sleep cycles synchronize so that when baby wakes, you are also in a light sleep phase near waking. It makes those middle of the night feedings so much easier! I recommend it highly. :)
