Does your partner buy/make you a gift at Christmas? Or do you have to buy/wrap your own gift?

I usually buy/wrap myself something for the children to give me (pj's or a practical item) on Christmas morning, but this year I'm going to leave it up to my husband. Not holding any hope that he'll be that organised :p

DH takes the kids to get mine and I take them to get his, then we buy each other something.

My kids are thoughtful little creatures, so no doubt they got me things I need/want/love :)
DS got DH a new (designer label) singlet as he has been whinging about his older ones fitting since he has started on HRT.
DD got him a bottle of the Beckham cologne after he mentioned he wanted while we were all going through catalogues :)

DP always gets me something, he usually asks me whether I want something specific and if I can't think of anything he always gets me something awesome. He knows what I like.

He recently gave me money to buy myself a new car - so, needless to say, this year I'm requesting that he not buy me a xmas present or the guilt will eat me alive!

DS usually makes me something. The Halloween that just passed he cut up some paper and wrote "I love Angie" (me) on it lol. So cute.

I love them, too! I'm having problems storing everything actually!

DH always gets me a gift from himself and usually from DS. There really isn't a lot that DH or I need as we are able to go and buy things whenever we want so this year DS has brought us a joint ipad (he chose the colour).

I don't know what DH has brought me, I suspect jewellery as that it what I have hinted at and a girl can never have too much hehe

Big plastic tubs are great Benji! I have 2 filled with them...plus a few of those display folders. I still look at them occasionally, especially now that they are too big and cool to write me love notes

I buy myself a present from DH but he usually gets the girls to wrap it. I usually buy DH's present too but this year I decided to make him buy it himself when we went shopping together. I'm hoping he will see how it has been for me all these years.

I also usually take the girls to the local shops to buy gifts for each other and us. But it take SO long especially with them trying to hide everything from each other and me.

So, this year I decided on DH's day off to go to the shopping centre and get a trolley. Everyone was told to try not to look in the trolley. The girls had so much fun. I'm sure DH will love his Flintstones dvd (he actually doesn't like them at all) and his chocolate mints that DD3 insisted he will really like. She got me a big box of nail polish etc. There is a theme there, she seems to have bought presents for us that she likes. I do know that DD2 got me pj's or a nightie and a hot pink heart pillow. I'm lucky it wasn't a pillow pet. LOL

The past few years I've made DP go out with DD and buy whatever DD chooses for me... but this year he's at the mines and so it's not been done.

Instead, I took DD into Diva (cos she wanted to get me something jewellery-ish and I didn't want to spend much), and explained to a sales person that my daughter wanted to buy me something, but doesn't want me to see, so asked if she could please get whatever it was my daughter wanted, tell me how much, and I'd hand her my daughter the cash.

I know DD got me a necklace (she sucks at not telling) but that's all I know. She's since made her own wrapping paper and wrapped it. :)

My Dh starts stressing about xmas gifts for me in about July  he is very sweet and thoughtful that way. Same with birthdays, anniversaries etc
