this christmas will be my nieces first christmas.

she will only be 5 months old, so i guess shes not gunna remember a whole lot about it, other than in the 1000 photos im sure her parents will take of her.... :laughing: yey for digital cameras...

anyway, to my point.

im looking for something totally special, something totally unique to give to her for christmas.

i know being the first grandchild on both sides, she will be totally spoilt, and i dont want to give her something that wont be used, or worn...

so what im looking for is suggestions, perhaps something you're child recevied that you totally cherish, that i can either make or buy to give to her for her first christmas?

How about one of those pretty christmas baubles with her name on it or a a nice christmas stocking. Or how about those cute stacking russian dolls.

we all have handmade baubles and stockings on the christmas tree that my mum and i have made, so she will get her own too.

i was thinking i might make a little one for her to go on their tree at home..

i like those russian dolls!!:o

I buy my niece the Christmas bear from Myer every year. They have a different outfit each year. I'm pretty sure they have the year on them somewhere too. She's got a collection now.

they dnt normaly do much or know wats happing on there 1st xmas but id buy an outfit or toys plaus nappies or wipes something she might need lol. :fingerscrossed: u come up with somthing

I was going to suggest the same thing. Or an ornament for the tree that says "babys first christmas" or something like that??

Or what about a little silver bracelet with her name engraved with the christmas date or a pretty jewelery box that will be a treasure forever or a santa snowglobe that plays a christmas tune? There are some nice ones about this year.

my ds got a teddy with 2005 stiched on its foot from my mum just before christmas i think she got itfrom myers its pretty good way to remember 1st christmas :) my ds was 8 months though

I love these ideas- it is my neices first christmas aswell and I think I will get here a litle jewellery box with a ballerina- thanks!!
