So I started this pg at 75.5kgs (im 1.78m tall) and at 19 weeks im 79.5kgs. My last pg (twins) I put on 26kgs which was probably too much. I didn't breastfeed so no help there with the weight loss.I did lose the weight but not toned and have a VERY flabby belly. Any tips on keeping my weight gain minimal this time? Is 4kgs by 19 weeks a bit excessive???

4kg by 19 weeks is fine. Its not excessive at all. I think the recommended weight gain is around 15kg. In my first pregnancy I gained almost 35kg and still had ten to lose when I got pregnant again. I am 33+4 and have only gained about 5kg but i have been VERY careful and was very sick in the first and second tri. I started at 73.

Both. In the first 24 weeks I hardly ate because I had severe hyperemesis. Now I just eat regular food toast cereal soup chicken salad and chocolate and ice cream and takeaway when I feel like. Last pregnancy i ate like a horse and lots of fast food. Plus i drank like 2 litres of juice a day. Sooo bad.

Hi Lozzie3,
I will advice you to break your meals in 5 small meals and prefer raw food more in your diet meals. Avoid beverages and increase water intake. Do some workout to lose and maintain weight.

^^ This,

I was 55 before my first, 63 after, 65 when pg to 2nd, 79 after, then lost all the way down to 55 again through diet and excercise now 22 weeks and back up to 62.3kg. Im not too worried try to eat a little better than the last two times but am not being completely good and after 16 weeks stopped doing excercise otehr then walking because it hurts too much (belly) But will be back on the high protein, low gi diet after this one when I start training properly again :)

My non pregnant training is 6 days a week 1hour plus a day switching between muscle building and high endurance cardio/interval :)

My pregnant training was cardio until 16 weeks now just light walking, sometimes lol.
