Where are my ovaries?

I know that is dumb question but where are my ovaries? I know they are some where down there.
Does anyone have a link of a pic that shows the ovaries in relationship to the hip bones/pelvis.
The day before yesterday i had O pian but yesterday only on the left side i had a really bad pain that i took panadole for and bding was uncomfortable. The pain has gone today... any thoughts?

Having O pain only on one side is standard, as only one ovary releases an egg per cycle. It doesnt always alternate but O pain is pretty much always only on the one side.
I dont have a pic, but I'm pretty sure your ovaries are either side of your bladder, just in from your hipbones.

Sorry, that was a bit of a smarta**e comment. But seriously, they are a bit above your hips, and in more towards your navel. It's O pain if its out to one side, in the middle I just count as cramps. I've had the same thing as what your describing, uncomfortable to bd - and the pain got quite intense for a couple of hours, then gradually went away after another day. That was about 1-2 days before I o'd. The cycles I've had since i have not had that intense pain again, just a kind of mild aching - so i think it just happens every now and then.

Thanks girls... i usually just get period like pain (only milder) when i'm oing and it's just kinder down to one side but not really able to pin point the spot. If that makes sense.
I was a bit uneasy about the pain the next day, cause i haven't had it before, or much if i had.
I hope it's a good sign, of a good egg being relased
