Help needed - Wollongong area

Hi all.
I have recently moved to the Wollongong area and have just discovered that I am pregnant.
The local GP I saw was not very helpful and I really do not feel comfortable going back to see her again.
I am hoping someone can recommend a good GP (I would prefer a female but would be happy to see a good male doctor). I am in the northern suburbs (near Fairy Meadow, Corrimal).
I also want some advice on my birthing options - shared care vs midwife group?
Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi Kimmy Kitty,

There used to be a really good female dr at the medical centre at Corrimal. The medical centre is attached to a pharmacy on the Princes Highway.. sorry for the lack of detail, all I remember is that she was blonde and had a bob. She also had a really long last name, very European last name at that. Alternatively there is a specialised female doctors clinic at Towradgi, also on the Princes Highway, in the same section that Caesars chicken shop is located.
