Or what about animal austions does anybody know where there is animal auctions that could possibly sell these.

Im not sure if there are other breeds of minature pigs but thats what I want a miniture pig.

Hi,
These pigs do grow to be a decent size, yes they are smaller than a normal pig but they do get be te size of a big dog, but I have always wanted one myself, they are so cute and they are also very intelligent. Good luck finding one.

Good question I would love to get a pig but I don't think that our council will let us have one.

I would still get your council's ok..... it is not the size of the animal that is the issue, it is the fact that it would most likely be classified as livestock.

You'd be heartbroken if you got one and they found out and made you get rid of him/her, eh?

Also be aware that although pigs are very 'trainable' they are also extremely stubborn. They also make a lot of noise. Ours would hear us open the backdoor from about 100 metres away and would screatch so loud the neighbours 500m away could hear her.
They will also make a mess of your garden if you have one.
They are great animals and very interesting pets but I would never own one if I lived residentially.
Good luck with it.

Edit: Forgot to add, most miniature pigs get to around 50 - 100kg as far as I know.

We ALMOST adopted a mini pig last year. A friend did - and I'm glad we didn't! They dig up your entire yard, make a lot of noise and can be very hard to train. I can bet my life that your neighbours will complain - you will need to get a permit to keep one or will be forced to rehome it when they find it. They are gorgeous, but its recommended they be kept on at least 1 acre. And they aren't so mini - the smallest ones weigh about 40kg (very rare) and I have seen mini's that were almost as big as normal pigs!!
