I honestly don't know much about female circumcision but I thought it was a cultural practice done to stop females from experiencing pleasure and will therefore keep them from being promiscuous etc ( I saw it on Oprah!) but I don't think that's the reason people circ boys?

Because I Wanted Pro circs opinions not people who dont circ because that answer is obvious, its a poll no one has to reply they would that is why I made a poll so people can vote and move on. Female circ has same reasons as male circ its just not legal

I 100% disagree with this. People have SO SO SO many different reasons for circ-ing, and to say their reasons are the same as the reasons people circ females....well like I said I strongly disagree with that statement.

ETA: I don't actually have any children and don't know what I thinbk about circumcision, so I probably have no right to be here at all!!!!!!!!!

If they are apparently the same why is one illegal? Again I only know what I saw on Oprah but in the Sudan ( I think) the mums and aunts do it too 12-13 year old girls so they can get a good husband and show they are "good" girls, it is done very badly by their relatives and causes a lot of medical problems and infections
