DD is 3 next month and still we have problems with her waking throughout the night. She usually comes into bed with us (which is really starting to irritate DP as he is working 2 jobs at the moment and the sleep he does get is limited) and will scream if we dont let her in or try to put her into her own bed.

I dont mind her coming into our bed - occasionally - but with my expanding belly things are becoming pretty squishy in bed.

I can't see any obvious reasons for her waking up nearly every night. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I dont want to be still co-sleeping when bubba is born

If its any consolation my dd started doing the same thing just before she turned 3.

Every night she would come into bed with us and just go back to sleep. We decided to let it be and now almost 4 mths later she stays in her bed. I think its just a stage they go through like all the other stages of different issues.

We have found if we don't stress about it or make a big deal about any of the different stages that she grows out of it pretty quickly.

Oh except for the bad behaviour stages:laughing:

I have an expanding belly too so can understand where you are coming from. I actually expect dd to start coming back into bed with us when the new bubs arrives as part of her adjustment to a new addition in the house. If she doesn't thats great but if she does we are just going to let it run its course, cause I am sure she will get sick of being woken up every 3 to 4 hours:laughing:

Hope this helps
