If u co sleep with ur baby how do u approach going out once in awhile ? And also do u co sleep for naps or just at night ?

We have gone out 2 or 3 times at night without DS, my mum came over and did what we usually do, laid down with him until he fell asleep, day naps ( like now!) he is asleep beside me while I'm on bubhub! He is pretty good and will fall asleep within a few minutes, I have toddler rails on the bed and am just outside so if when he wakes he usually calls out for me
