Hi everyone,

I have not posted much lately as we have had a family crisis to deal with and I'm just getting on top of things this week.

Some of you may have read earlier posts of mine regarding my DH's illness. His cancer has now spread and he has (currently) two tumors in his back and his liver is full of disease. He is 28. He has been told that his condition is terminal and he has had to give up work. Although "they" (the dr's) can't really give a time frame, they only expect at this stage that he'll live another say 2 years. Our baby is 6 months.... :(

Anyway, we have had alot to deal with but I think we are doing fantastically ;)

We are trying to stay positive....what else is there?? The bright side for Steven is that he gets to be a full time dad at the moment and is loving each day with Lachlan - who by the way is almost crawling, and sitting up really confidently (and sleeping through the night 12 hours most nights 7 to 7 but hush hush as I don't want to test my luck!!! :p )

The point of this post is not to make you all feel bad or to be a downer, but just to explain why I've been a bit quiet (not that anyone probably noticed!! ) and to say:-

Hi to everyone new, congrats to all who have fallen pregnant, congrats for everyone's bub's milestones I've missed....and slow down the posts because I can't catch up!!!!

So sad to hear about your DH illness, It must be a very hard time for you and your family, and am happy that you are keeping positive in such a trying time... I am sure we(all the ladies from the bubhub forum) are thinking of you and our thoughts go out to you... ;)

It really makes you appreciate what you have got, and can really help put things into perspective, especially when you are so young and this is happening when your family has just begun... My husband and I are currently ttc baby #3, and he would dearly love a son also, due to his father passing away last year at the tender age of 42 from a terrible accident... He misses that relationship he had and could have had, and the feeling of guilt still lays upon him, and constantly asking why?

My husband and I read your thread together and really pray for the best outcome for your little family, I hope that whatever I have said, is received by you in a loving and caring way, as I realise sometimes in situations like these it is easy to be offended when it wasn't mean't to... Once again we are thinking of you, and it's wonderful to have you back... :D
