How many times does your baby usually wake up during the night?

Hi there,

I was just wondering how many times on average your bubs wake up during the night? I my DS is 9 months old and has been co sleeping with us for about 6 months. He seems to wake up quite a lot, at least 4-5 times a night. Sometimes he just needs to change positions and has a little feed and goes back to sleep, but sometimes he seems really irritated and upset and im just wondering if something might be wrong. Any advice?

Mine never did. She is 8 now and I can count on one hand the times I was up with her at night, but your baby sounds very normal too. Some sleep, others don't. Some wake multiple times a night, others don't. You are doing nothing wrong, you just have a baby who wakes at night.

It doesn't sound like anything is wrong. share a book gave you a good answer :) My DS is 8 months soon and he varies A LOT. He sleeps in my room so I hear him change positions heaps like yours. Then once or twice a night he might actually wake up to the extent that he needs a feed to go back to sleep.

ETA that I'm very jelosu of share a book :P
