View Full Version : empty formula tins
what does everone do with the empty ones? It feels so watseful throwing them away (in the recycling bin of course), I go through so many now I was hoping someone may have some bright ideas for ways to reuse them. Bub is too little to do any crafty things with them but there's got to be some other uses?

Dh uses them in the shed for nuts and bolts ect..
I put a slot in the top of the lid and use them as money box and put church change in it. We have about 4 of them full of change at the moment, just havent gotten around to taking them to the bank.

* ask daycare centres/pre-schools/primary schools if they could use them
* store lego/matchbox cars in them
* flour/sugar/pasta storage
* punch holes in them, spray gold/silver and place a tea light candle in them...great for outside lighting
* make stilts for your older kids
