Aches and pains

Hi all,

Is it normal to have mild-intense cramping and back-ache in early pregnancy? It feels like I'm about to get my period, but I'm 5 days overdue.

Yep - I felt like my period was coming but it never did. Have you done a HPT?

If the pain gets worse it might be worthwhile getting it checked out by your GP just in case.

Hi Helen06,

I had mild cramping and back pains across my lower back from a week before my period was due to a week later. I am still getting occasional niggling pains (almost like pinching pains) that my GP has assured me are very normal in early pregnancy.

It is best to see your GP if you are worried about the pains.
