Cobey LOVES to be pulled up to sitting position. He's worked out to tense himself up and try to pull his head up.
Sometimes he prefers to put his legs out and HE goes straight to stand. And then he'll just 'stand' there, holding my fingers. When he gets tired (after about 30-60secs I guess) I put him back down, but lots of times he'll have a rest and want to do it again.
HE'S making himself stand, btw, we're not forcing him to do it. (and he's a very strong boy, good muscle tone etc.. so says doctors!)
ANYWAY. I've heard mixed reactions from this.
1) If that's his doing and not my forcing, good on him.
2) NO! WILL MAKE HIM BOW-LEGGED@@%@& RARRR!
Interestingly enough, I have friends with twins, one of their twins was doing this from 6 weeks and she's fine.. her fraternal brother, however, who didn't do this, is bow-legged..
