Wondering if you have co-slept with all your kiddos and if not then do you see a difference in them?

My first 3 slept in cribs in thier own rooms, my now 5 year old co-slept with me until 4 I have noticed that she is much more attached to me, and is more outgoing then the others at the same age. She was also more confident in herself when meeting other kids and walked earlier then the others maybe coincidence but wanted to see others experiences

All three are co-sleepers here, but they are all very different anyway!

Yes, all 4 of mine are/were co-sleepers. DS1 for around 3 months, DS2 for about a year, DD1 for 5 years and DD2 currently for the last 11 weeks since she was born. They all moved into their own cot/beds when they wanted to :)

I co-slept with both kids although DD was only 4 months as she liked her own space and DS co-sleeps on occasion and he's 10 months.

Yes with my first child, but not with my second one. She is happy sleeping on her own, but does need more settling.:)

I don't think your observations of the differences in your kids is necessarily to do with co sleeping. I have friends whose children have co slept for years who are incredibly difficult, sooky, clingy etc.. Others who are really confident. Maybe you were more confident with your last child? With my first he slept next to me in a basinette for 4 months, then he ended up in our bed permanently after a number of bouts of gastro, bad teething and general sickness.. He is a pretty confident outgoing child but quite firmly attached too I guess.. He likes his comfort zone for sure which is pretty normal for his age. My daughter has slept in bed with me from day dot and I can't say what her true personality is yet.. So far she doesn't like to be apart from me ever and is terribly fussy!

Co slept with DD1 up until age 4, only stopped cos I was sick on waking up to a warm puddle of wee......

Still co sleeping with DD2 (16 months) who is the master of perpendicular position. She has FIF syndrome aka Feet in MY Face where her feet magnetically are attracted to my face!

I don't know about being closer because of co sleeping. I think it's just personality and how you feel towards each child based on their relationship with you.

yep, co-slept with all three and they are all very social, confident, outgoing, intelligent and autonomous little people. they are all different in their own little ways but 'well adjusted' is a word we hear a lot from teachers/carers.
