When did your kid move out?

My first 3 kids I didnt co-sleep, breastfeed or anything the last one who is now 5 I did AP parenting and co-slept she moved out at age 4 when did your kiddos move out?

My 8yo is back in my room now becaus e of the air-con. It's the only room in the house that's cool o/n now.

DS had just turned 3 but he still bunks with us a fair bit, and he is in the same room. DD is 10 months and not going anywhere!

We are in the process of booting out our 3 year old. With sporadic success!

DD moved in to her bed and room at 18 months old. Still comes in for morning snuggles.

We got her a king single bed with a good mattress so one of us can join her if she needs it.

Mine are 4 and 7 and are still in my bed. My 7 year old occassionally will sleep in his own bed... usually when his little bro is being a PITA!

I subscribe to the AP philosophy and had intentions for DS (27 months) to sleep in my room for years, but he was getting woken up all night by DS2 and not getting enough sleep, and consequently he was super-duper grumpy during the day. So, I moved him in right next door to my room. He seems unperturbed though, he was more excited about getting a cool new bed :laughing:.

I intend for DS2 to stay for however long he likes, and I will look at putting DS1 back in when/if DS2 starts sleeping more throughout the night (if he wants) :)

DD is now in her own room and I am still cosleeping with her older brother, haha.

My 4yo is finally sleeping in her own bed much more than mine. When I fell pregnant (she doesn't know yet), I told her a baby wouldn't grow in my belly while she slept in my bed and kept kicking my tummy. She went cold turkey that night. She is so desperate for a new baby in this family.

Co-slept from birth with my 2nd and 3rd child. 2nd wanted out on her own at 12 months, third wanted his own space at 7 months.

DS has just moved out - so he co-slept from 5 months till 1 year

Dd 2.4 comes in about 40% of the time for full nights and comes in 90% from the middle of the night.
Im worried co sleeping with her when I'm more further along in the current pregnancy and co sleeping with dd and newbie especially when newbie is a newborn

DD is 27 month and doesn't look like moving out any time soon.

Our ds moved out at 2 but for the past 3 months he has been back in and we have moved out into his bed! DS is now 4

I cant see it happening any time soon at 4yrs old. Granted its only half the night though
