we saw our baby today!!

We had the first ultrasound today:smiliedance: And the baby is great! My guess was right, I am due 24th of May. Baby measured 1.03cm, heartbeat was 134bpm!! I was so worried that they wouldn't even find a baby in there, but there it was!!
I was in so much pain from the water I drank, I could barely walk, I had to go and empty a little about 5 times! And then the appointment was 1/2 an hour late!!
Oh, well at least I know we are having a baby:yelclap:

Yay!!!!! Don't you have such a sense of well being once you see that heartbeat? And grrrrrr making you wait with a full bladder. I love it when they say "Oh just empty a little bit out" AS IF!!!!

The bug was perfect - it did a wave when first on camera, and then also did a heap of crunches (at least one of us is exercising! :D) The HR was perfect at 162 beats/min and my due date has moved by 3 days to 12th May (from 15th May). So I am now 9 weeks and 6 days. If you squint, you can see the little bean in my avatar...

I am SOOOOOOOOO excited, and DH hasn't stopped grinning.

And sorry I have been absentee lately - work is flat-out and I was a bit stressed out about how the bug was going because my m/s diappeared. It's back though now and I am feeling fine!!

I hope all you other ladies are going well.... !
