Hi There,
I have moved to Highbury near TTP from QLD and I would love to meet up with some new people as I don't really know anyone here in Adelaide.
My partner works away so it gets pretty boring here by ourselves so I'd love to meet some new friends.
I have a 4 month old little girl and we'd love to find out if there were any playgroups etc around the area.
If anyone knows of some places to go, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks

Hello!
I am in Greenwith and run a Playgroup at the Greenwith Community Centre however it's probably a bit far for you. I know at our Community Centre the TTG Council runs free 'Baby' and 'Toddler' groups and I know they also run them in other locations in the council area so there may be something a bit closer to you.
Contact Playgroup SA to find Playgroups in your suburb.
Also check out the activities at the TTG library, I know plenty of parents go there regularly so might be another way to make some Mummy friends.

Hi Tiger Lilly,
I have a four month old girl too and my church runs a playgroup every Thursday morning. Its in Tea Tree Gully so probably about ten minutes from you if you have a car. We love having new people join so let me know if you're interesed and I can give you more details.

Hi I am in Greenwith also and I am looking at trying to meet mums. Is it possible to get some info on the play group you run?

Thanks

I forgot to let you know about a great playground in the Golden Grove area if you can travel to it. It is off of Atlantis Drive Golden Grove, just behind Mc Donalds and the netball courts. Great for all ages and there is also an oval to play on. I go here a bit with my 4 year old and she loves it, my nearly 8 month old can't do much as she isn't walking, but we put her on the little slide or the swing and she loves it.
And the tea tree gully library is also great for kids of all ages. They do a 0-5yr old program during the school term that involves singing, reading books and craft and they have computer games and it is all free. Think its on Mon, Tues and Wed from 10am. Think they also do activities during the school holidays. I will be attending the library activities on Tuesdays, maybe I will see you there one day =)
