Hello everyone :)

Just wanted to share my wonderful news with all the special women here on bubhub who take the time to respond to my posts.

I had my 18 week u/s today & although it took some time (because bubby wasn't in the right position) I was ecstatic to hear that I am having a boy!

I am so happy & excited I haven't been able to stop smiling & talking to my tummy! Hahahaha. This may sound strange but it feels so much more real now that he has an identity. ;)

Thank-u all again for answering my silly questions & allowing me the occassional whinge about being a single mum.

Smiles & hugs from Kristy & the beautiful baby boy in her tummy ! :p

that's wonderful news.... Congratulations
You are right it does make it all the more real when there is an identity.
just make sure you don't paint the room blue just yet and have a girls name just in case,
I was told DD2 was a boy,
and a girlfriend of mine had 3 U/S at every one she was told a girl, imagine her surprise when it came out a BOY.... quite funny actually.
It's great news all the same, enjoy the rest of your pregnancy

CONGRATULATIONS!! :D

I remember when we found out that Lachlan was a boy (about 19 weeks)....I really did not mind either way but DH desperately wanted a boy...so very excitiing day for him. Anyway, once I knew I got really excited too, and now couldn't imagine not having a gorgeous little boy........they are sooo cute!! :)

Sorry to all the girl mums I'm sure you'll all give me a cheeky response! ;)

Hi Kristy

Congratulations...I know exactly how you are feeling....we too were so excited when we found out we were having a boy......It made no difference to me either way...as I thought I was having a girl...my DH was very excited though.

It is easier to talk about when we refer to him now and it has been alot easier when shopping for clothes...

Have a great day.....

Hi Kristy,

Congrats on having a bubby boy! It is wonderful news!

I loved having my scan, it is one of the best memories I have from my pregnancy....it is mind boggling to think that in such a short time a bunch of cells has developed into a little bub with perfect fingers and toes! It still brings a tear to my eye....I'm such a bleeding heart. :)

Anyway, good luck with everything and keep us posted on your progress. Have you felt him move yet??

love Caitlin & Zach xx

Congratulations Kristy. What wonderful news. Boys are great. I have girls too and they are wonderful as well.

Boys have heaps of energy so dust of your running shoes and be prepared to be falling over spiderman and batman toys :D

Best wishes

That's wonderful news.
