DH went away on Thursday morning last week, leaving home at 4.30 am. He was meant to be back on Tuesday morning... then it was Tues night.. then Wednesday night at the absolute latest... then it was Thursday morning... then Thursday night.

I have just now gotten off the phone to him and he tells me there is no chance of him being home tonight and he'll be lucky if he's home in time to get to his other job on Friday afternoon!! :banghead:  :banghead:

So even if he does make it home Friday afternoon, it means that we won't be seeing him until Friday night.

I am so angry!!!

And he could not have picked a worse time!! DD is teething up a storm (seems she is getting half her teeth all at once) and is cranky, clingy and not sleeping. I am trying to work full time and care for her, and my house is a stinking mess because I don't have any time to be cleaning it! (In case you are wondering, I am usually on bubhub while working at the same time). We also have 2 dogs to look after, including a greyhound with a very strict schedule.

I really am at my wits end with this whole working away from home thing!!! Unfortunately it makes up the bulk of our household income, so it's not possible to do away with it. It just makes me so mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing to say but 'Poor Mrs M'.

Useless Men. Make you cranky when they aren't home, and annoy you when they are.

I have threatened him that if I receive another "not-going-to-be-home-now-until..." phone call that he may well come home to find his daughter has been put up for adoption & the locks changed!! :p

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.....................................

C.P.S. (Cranky Pants Syndrome) must be going around at the moment.

And I'm quite sure it's contaigous!! Either DD caught it from me, or me from her, but we've both got it BAD!!!

Unfortunately the only medication for C.P.S. is contraindicted for the two of us. A bottle of scotch cannot be given to children under 18 years of age or to pregnant women. ~sigh!~
