Like many of us in here, I have been struggling with a night-waker for a while now but I have refused to bend to those telling me to let him cry. We've been cosleeping and I've been BFing him at night to help him settle. Gradually he has been needing less feeds overnight....

And (oh man, I don't want to jinx it!! :fingerscrossed:) my 14 month old has slept through the night (8pm - 6am) for five nights in the past week!! :smiliedance:

Of course, I'm still awake half the night because my body clock is so screwed up, but I still got SIX straight hours of sleep last night!!!

So excited :D

Good job, it's great to hear a sucess story! I too have a serial night waker, and get so sick of people telling me to just let him cry. We're slowly getting better, but it takes lot's of time and patience to take the no-cry route but it's worth it.

DD has been settling quickly and staying in her cot till 4/5 before coming in our bed till 7.

i am hoping that soon she stops waking at 4 ish and just sleeps through.
