Hi to all the lovely young mums to be in Perth!
I'm a student midwife, about to begin my second year of a three year BSc (Midwifery) degree. As part of our degree we participate in a program called the Continuity of Care experience where we team up with pregnant woman and follow you through your pregnancy, birth, and first few weeks with your baby. We provide support and information for you, as well as it being a great learning experience for us as part of our course.
If you are pregnant and would like to know more about the program, please feel free to post to me. Alternatively I can give you my email/phone number and I can answer any questions you may have. I've worked with a number of women so far and they all find it a really rewarding experience, to have your own personal student midwife to help you in your pregnancy!
If you have any questions at all please feel free to get in touch, best of luck to all the mums-to-be!
:) Alissa
