Hi all,
I have such sadness in my heart at the moment, I'm going to keep the information short just incase any one IRL sees this.
I know of two kids at the moment that are going to be given back to DHS at the request of their foster parents, these kids are great children with normal issues that any parent would have with kids their age.
I would dearly love to take the kids on but my husband is quite reluctant for a few reasons that I can understand but still all I feel is heart break for these kids.
I was wondering if there is such a thing called a 'child advocate' whereby I can still be involved in their lives and that I can offer assistance to them at any stage, where I can be a mentor to them and for them to know they are loved.
I'm worried about where they will end up, they have been apart of my life for six years now, they have spent considerable time with us (giving the foster family a break in hope that it would help with the issues)
Is there something that I can do to be there for them without them living with us?
