We actually sold our lovely big tree last year because DD was ruining it and brought a really cheapo one from spotlight. But I know she will do the same this year so will be getting a new one at the after Christmas sales.

Im *trying* to wait until Dec 1st to put our tree up, as we do every year. But for some reason this year Im dying to get it up!!
At the moment its sitting in the hallway in its box :o Patience is one of my weaker qualities....

the boys helped me, every time my toddler put a ball on he said 'i did it, woo hoo' and it was so cute that i couldnt stop them. so we have eleventy billion balls on there. but i love it hehe

Thats not helpful :laughing::laughing: I have to wait for the kids to get home from school...DD made me swear not to put it up without her :laughing:

What pretty trees!

I'm waiting very impatiently to put ours up this weekend. Having our carpets cleaned on friday and I don't want to have to move it once it's up so waiting til after then.

kmetius I love how well coordinated yours is :yes:! I'd love ours to look like that but with all the bits and pieces DD makes at preschool etc colour coordination goes right out the window!

Might have to start getting the decorations out (and making sure the tree is free of spiders!) so everythings ready !

I almost caked it and put up our fake tree last night, but the kids piked out and fell asleep on me, have to try hang out for a couple more days so we can get our real tree, I dragged all the decos out last night though can't wait to put it all up!!

Hehe I'll take a pic tonight :) all the decorations are on the lower half (kids couldn't reach higher ;) ) makes for an interesting look but they had a blast and I don't want to 'fix' it

Subscribing. We are yet to make decorations. I got rid of our big Christmas tree and dh made a new one on the weekend with wire so it looks like a twiggy tree and then we wrapped it in wool, it's rather stylish!!!

My tree is far from amazing - DD chose the colour scheme this year (purple and silver) and I had to guy a bunch of new decorations because I didn't have any purple ones (well, I had about 6 baubles... lol).

We brought a Cheapo tree last year because DD kept trying to destroy it but I'm going to get a really nice on seeing as DD has been so good this year. Maybe a can score a bargain at the boxing day sales :D

okay, i don't have a christmas tree. it must have been thrown out after last year, broken or something, because i can't find it anywhere. anyway! i do have a section of tree (i was in a play this year, playing a troll, literally a big lump of rock on legs lol so i carried a wooden club, which was a bit of tree with some of the roots attached). so i decorated that instead.
my collection of christmas decorations is very limited so i had to improvise a bit.
