Just wanted some advice about this topic..

Damien has just moved a week ago (nearly) into his own bed, from which he has been sleeping with us for the last 9 months.. (Due to moving in with my mum and not being enough room)

He usually doesnt wake for a bottle at night, but will to be snuggled into us.
Now being in his own bed, he is sleeping until 2am-3am and then waking..
Not for a bottle, he sits on his bed with his eyes closed and cries to be cuddled.

I have no idea what to do, and what ways to stop this... So any suggestions would be very much appericated!

Thanks
Alicia

Oh, also......

He has been really good, with staying asleep in there until that time, he just sooks when he loses his dummy (which will be our next removing step)
Some times i can leave him awake in his bed when he is tired, with a movie on and he falls asleep.

I find this works better if i put him in there when he is REALLY REALLY tired.

I had a couple of weeks of DD waking and sooking... me tending to her bla bla...
I gave up (got the poops to be exact), and just let her 'sook it out'.

She did this for about 3/4 nights and then gave up (or I slept through), I guess she learnt she wasnt going to be tended to anymore?
DD does have some bad nights still (2 in the past few months where she's ended up back in my bed), but most nights I can just give her a cuddle, feed and she's sound asleep.

Thats all I can offer, as all I tried really lol
Oh and DD has other moments, she wakes and lies in bed talking to herself... whilst kicking against the wall and having a good giggle about it! I still haven't found a cure for that.

Alicia as you can probably guess I will be watching this thread with interest. I'm so over wake up calls that involve a kick in the head
