Draino to predict sex??

My SIL was telling me today that apparently you can use draino to predict the gender of your baby.

What you have to do is put some draino in a clear cup and pee in it, it changes colour according to the sex of your baby. She thinks is green for a boy and brown for a girl.

Has anyone heard this before?? If so, are the colours correct??

I'm game to try it.....

I doubt we'll ever really be sure if it was just an old wives tale or not!!

Have heard it but it can explode a little so I would not pee directly onto the drainer. Get some drainer in a little cup and then add it to your pee in another cup or something. Try googling it for the exact colours and let me know! I love these little tests lol!

That's good to know Olivia&Bellasmummy, I'd hate to imagine what Draino splashing onto your nether-regions would feel like!!!

I'm going to try it!! All I have to do is remember to buy draino in the groceries this week. I'll let you all know how it goes!! I found this when I googled it:

Reminder: If you do attempt this PLEASE use a glass container. Fumes are strong so pee in the jar and then do the draino test in a well ventilated area.

"The Prediciton Key" to interpreting the Drano test:

Bluish yellow = boy
Greenish brown = girl

Brownish = boy
No change = girl

Brown = boy
Green = girl

Black = boy
Blue = girl

Blue = boy
Green = girl

I did it with both my Ds before I had found out the sex and it was right for both. Turned Brown/ green for a boy. Green for a girl.
