Hey girls
Does anyone know if there's such a thing as a plain PUL in the fruit salad nappies? I love the trimness of the one I have but, being a printed PUL it's more prone to compression leaks, eventually (am I correct clothies?)

Also, today is Cobey's first 100% clothie day. I don't have enough in my stash to be a 100% clothie mumma but today I thought we'd do it :D (and then wash and dry them in time for the Naturally Baby expo on Saturday!)

There are plain ones around Nikki, I think though if you are going to be leaving it on him long enough that you are worried about leaks you shouldn't use Fruit Salads because they are so tiny, just my opinion though:laughing: I have a Fruity Kids i am looking at selling if you are interested, its very cute but i have 2 of the same print.

I have a couple of print ones...they leak after about 3hrs if DD is sitting the whole time, and I only use flannelette in them (I shopped up one of my flats so it wasn't too bulky :D ) If she is playing, which for her invloves standing up most of the time, I can stretch them to 4hrs if I really want/need to.

Maybe try emailing them and ask if they will have plain ones when they re-open the store.

The fruit salad nappies aren't designed to be a long lasting nappy. I have personally never seen plain PUL ones. I use mine with one home made microfibre and one hemp. I've made them so they are really tiny and fit in perfectly. They do a great job.

Hmm, thanks.. I know they're not long lasting because they're tiny, I was just hopin' I guess :p

I think that's their downside. I really want to put mine on my two when we got to a wedding next week (so their bums fit into their clothes better), but I don't think they last long enough for me to be able to. Not much that can really be done though, I think I'll just stick to the Greens with only microfibre, that is normally pretty trim but also long lasting.
