In your marketplace stall set-up, you can link to a website, facebook page, ebay store, etc

A thumbnail should then display or the web address that you have linked to.

However, if that web page can only be viewed if you are logged into the site, then no thumbnail will appear.

This is the case for Facebook pages. Facebook pages can only be viewed by somebody who is logged onto facebook - so no thumbnail will appear. Instead there will be a camera icon with a red 'stop' hand inside it.

Whilst facebook is great - remember that pages can only be viewed by people with facebook accounts who are logged in. Consider also setting up a free blog with wordpress or google blogger so that you do have a presence that can be seen without logins and passwords.

Can I add 2 links then? One to the blog and 1 to my FB page? Or can I choose only 1 link?

There's only space for 1 link in the Link-URL field and this is the webpage that a thumbnail image will be produced for.

But - you can put as many links as you want in the description field.
So maybe put a link to your blog in the Link-URL field as that will produce a nice screenshot of your blog and then let everyone know about your facebook page - with a link to it - in your description.

Yeah that is what I was thinking about. Are you still intending on charging a few dollars per "stall"?

I think so - but for the moment, it's free. I don't think it's fair to charge whilst we are still ironing out the creases and getting it all set up. Our initial stall holders will provide invaluable feedback and help us to build it into the marketplace facility that the members want.
