DH seems to always want to do something huge for my birthday like buy me diamonds and gold and go out for dinner or a holiday or something and I have to talk him out of it because I don't think its very mature for adults to feel the need to celebrate their birthday.

Hope he remembers though, a bunch of flowers and some thai takeaway is always nice :)

Hm - I always still hope for a nice card and/or something here - it's always a bit hit and miss. But no matter what I always make sure Mr pegasus gets presents from both me and the children.

But...we always celebrate birthdays now - I certainly won't ever stop celebrating anybody's birthday just because they've hit a certain age. We only do Christmas presents for the kids (gets too expensive otherwise), so I'm keeping my birthday and that of any adult in the family as special days when we can expect something a bit special just for us.

I'm still a child at heart, and I count the sleeps till my birthmonth every year :D I celebrate the international day of Jenny every year .. and I relish every bit of attention and every pressie that I get ..
