At what age did you introduce yogurt to your blw bubba? And how did you do it? TIA :)

We introduced goats yogurt at 6 months, very messy! We tried giving him loaded spoons and he did get some in but most was dropped , we then tried him with thin sticks of cucumber as a dipper and this worked really well, just make sure you get one of those catcher bibs, you will need it :)

We also introduced yoghurt at 6 months. We usually give it to DD mixed into rice or dip bread in it and she eats those with her hands. We found the loaded spoon was just a catapult which would spread yoghurt everywhere

We also used to have it as dip, usually with toast fingers.

I was once told that you need to not worry about what 'goes' when it comes to baby food... so yoghurt spread on toast although sounds odd, isn't as far as babies are concerned. I also used to put yoghurt and some fruit in a wrap and roll it up. Wraps were fantastic for fiddly foods, I used to put just about everything in them!

hmmmm, I cannot remember what age...maybe 10 months? I just used to put it in a bowl and break up some rice cakes and sit them in it to use as dippers...very very messy!

About 12 months and even though I did BLW I didn't want to deal with the mess of yoghurt and just spoon fed it to them. DS just turned 2 and he has been eating yoghurt mess free on his own for a few months so I don't think it caused him any damage :) I basically waited to introduce messy spoon fed stuff until he was eating meals so I knew I wasn't making him eat.
