View Full Version : Lollipops playland, cannon hill
just wanting some info.... I drove past the otherday.... is it any good? we had one near us in NZ and it was fantastic, just wondering what the one here is like... has it got much stuff for a 1 yo?
thanks :)
Hi there,
I find that the Lollipops are way too expensive! The one I went to in NSW, you had to pay for the adult as well as the children!
Anyway....I'm not sure what the Cannon Hill one is like!
Have fun though, if you go! :)

Yep I love it!! You do have to pay for an adult to get in ($3) and with that you get a coffee/tea or milkshake. The prices for the children depend on age, Free for under 12 months & I cant really remember the rest though.
Summer loves it there! They have a toddler section and another section for the older kids & a teacup ride. Thing is it does give you a bit of a headache though when its really busy!
yeha weve been there. we got 2 free drink vouchers when we went for our first time , and i liked it, the parties look good too, my daughter loved it.
Thanks
it doesnt sound expensive so i might give it a go :)
thanks for your responces

Hey there, going there on school holidays wasn't good for us. Went with a friend and her dd being only 2 at the time got pushed around a bit by the older kids..Haven't been able to get back since but in the short time we were there seemed heaps to do for my 2 boys. There is also another play type area opened at sunnybank. It is the old toy library and now play area..it is on orange grove rd. Haven't actually been yet, waiting for achool holidays to finish..
Yuk I didnt like it for babies, we went there once and dd got the worst case of gastro, which she passed around to the rest of the family :barf:
Another lady from my mother's group took her dd around the same age around the same time and she also got gastro.
I reported it to the council to see if there was any regulations as to how often they have to clean the toys and the lady I spoke to on the phone said her and her sister took there kids there and they all came down with gastro!
Yukyukyuk, we havent been there since. Plus they have a little babies play area which my daughter was playing in but the older kids kept running in and out and she was getting pushed around.
I suppose it would be good for older kids (once they have built up there immune system) :)
Reckon dd would like it now, but Im not game to try again.
