Counting down 25 days to Christmas with Random acts of kindness
I just saw this idea and think it is super fantastic.
I can't wait to do it with my kids.
Anyone want to join me.
Ooh, that sounds like fun, count me in.
Can we brainstorm some ideas? :)

I love that idea! Brainstorm here I come... (I do love an organizing project).
If you do it unstructured you can just pick a random thing each day as it happens.
More structured is have a bowl full of ideas, pick one out each day, and fulfill it. Ideas can be returned to the bowl or discarded.
Sure.
i was thinking of making a card to leave with the (item/kindness).
Donating a toy/book to The hospital kids ward/vinnies etc
I thought I tape some coins to a card and leave on a parking machine
Paying for the next persons in line coffee/cold drink
what are some your ideas.....
I am trying to keep the cost down....for mine

What a good idea! Today I sponsored a child in my area with serious disability to go to the scosa circus spectacular...Gave me the warm and fuzzys :goodvibes:
Something with low $$ though
Letting someone with not many items go before you at the shops or helping out elderly neighbours with lawns... That's all I've got right now, I'll come back if I think of anything else.

I think it is a lovely idea :) I have one suggestion of what not to do though. Don't sen money to a random person in the mail. It seems like a nice idea but I received two separate envelopes of money within two days of each other and it got really creepy.

Found this on my search for ideas. When I'm on the PC next I'll cut, paste, edit and start a list we can all add to. One big editable "master list".

I just made my own dodgie little cards in word. They are bright green and red. I may have borrowed from the idea very heavily (like, very very heavily). If you want a copy let me know and I'll email it to you. :xmas:

Great work, Bellalika!
I'm wrecking my brain atm, trying to come up with more ideas that doesn't necessarily cost much!

It was the cost thing throwing me. I wanted things that would only take a minute too, not book in a time to help in a soup kitchen or pack food hampers. With my life at the moment I couldn't guarantee I could show up.

Um. Buy something out of a vending machine but leave it in bottom bit for the next person who comes along.
I also like leaving 50c coins or something in phone boxes etc. where the change comes out. Also in those claw games and stuff like that. Kids always check them!
Pick someone out at a cafe and pay for their lunch.
