We've just come back from an afternoon in the Perth Cultural Centre - we were supposed to pop in but stayed for 4 hours! In the Urban Orchard outside the Art Gallery there is a small hand-made goods market, a community art project where you can sew assorted yarn onto the petals of an enormous flower sculpture, Save the Children are giving away balloons, the Uthando Project is asking children to help dress handmade dolls with handmade clothes and accessories to then be packaged up and sent to children in Africa, there's food stalls around by the museum, a stage with music, we had no idea there was so much on. And it's all on again tomorrow and Saturday! For free!
