Movin to coast in Dec

Hello! We r moving to yeppoon early dec, my hub is working in mines. I cant wait to get some fresh air. I'm moving from where my family is to were the inlaws live. I am 11wks preg with 4th bub. I am looking for some local knowledge about pre natal care in yeppoon n seeing if there is maternity at hospital. I have really quick labours so Rocky is a bit far. If any one could give me some info that would be greatly appreciated..

Hi! We have been here for 6 months and are loving it! My DH is in the mines as well. A lot of my friends are in the same boat so we organise lots of bbqs and social activities (child friendly of course). We go to a weekly playgroup next to the library on tuesdays. It is very easy to make friends here :)

I don't know much about the health care details but I am certain Yeppoon hospital doesn't have maternity. Although they won't turn you away if you are in labour, probably just transfer you afterwards. Rocky is only 25mins, every time I drive in there it seems closer.
