I'm thinking of a different name for this area...

We've been discussing a directory within the forum where members (with more than 300 posts) can let us know about any businesses that they run.

We started off calling it the WAHHubbers directory (ie hubbers working at home). But...

Really it's not just about mums working at home WAHMs (or Dads) and it's not about necessarily owning a business. The section will also encompass talented parents who are not working, but can offer their professional services (legal, technical, etc) as well as members running a small hobby business. It's also for our members who run a business, but it might not be from home - a small shop, for example.

So ... can we come up with a new name? WAH (working-at-home) doesn't cut it.

I was thinking of Parents Earning for Themselves (PETs :)) or Parents Working for Themselves (no natty acronym). Or Mums Earning for Themselves METs and DETs ?

wdyt?

Can anyone come up with a really good name for parents who want to earn money but who are not employed ... ???

I just posted in the other thread but I suggested Hubbers Market, or I guess yu could have village square, village hub, etc etc. Like a virtual market feel.
