Hi I am due in april 2006. I am 10 weeks pregnant. I have been burping right from week 3. is it common to burp during pregananc? Also i feel tired and I sleep a lot. I work full time. Besides going to work I just sleep most of the time. Is it that this tiredness is more during the first trimester? any suggestion or reply would be really helpful. have a nice time you all lovely mum.
cheers

Hi Chiku,
Congrats on your pregancy!
I worked full time up until my 6 month while pregnant and felt tired alot of the time - I definately found the first 3 months I was tired all the time - the good news is when I hit the 2nd trimester the tiredness seemed to go and i had lots of energy! I found about the last month or so I got really tired again. I think it's your body's way of nurturing your pregnancy - it needs lots of rest to do it's work!
I also had lots of wind  during my pregnancy!
If you ever have any worries though during your pregnancy don't be afraid to talk to your doctor/midwife - that's what they are there for - I know I had lots of questions and it's good to put your mind at rest!
Keep smiling
Cheers

Hi Belinda

Thanks for the reply. I still have to choose the hospital and so probably once i get in touch with midwives it would be great. As this is my first pregancy and I dont have anybody else ( my family is overseas) except my husband. we are bit excited and nervous. thanks for the support.

cheers

I had chronic burping when I was pregnant. I used to get embarassed at work but I just couldn't help it. I wondered if it was because I had quite bad morning sickness. I too was chronically fatigued. Could go to bed at 6 pm some days. This is very normal.

No worries Chiku!
It must be hard for you with your family so far away - are your husbands family more local? Maybe u could lean on them for a bit of support. My little man is 6 months old now - he is my first. I loved being pregnant - it is such an exciting time isn't it! Feel free to pm me or email if you wanna talk or have any questions my email is belby@picknowl.com.au. I know every pregnancy is different but it's good to talk to people who have been there or are going through it!
Cheers
